Although, our main objective is storing Boats and Recreation Vehicles, we will gladly store Cars, Trucks, Motorcycles, Other Vehicles, Ultra-Lite Planes, Equipment and more.

My Prop is Gone!
Boats that are stored out of the water on trailers or raised in slips are prime targets for propeller thieves every season. These propellers cost in the range of $500 - $2,000 and are normally sold back to local dealers or over the internet. Those made of stainless steel are commonly targeted.

A professional thief who knows what he is doing can remove a propeller from a boat in less than a minute, using a specialized wrench.

Since propellers do not have identifiable markings, they are hard to recover once stolen. Boat owners should engrave or etch personal markings onto their propellers. Markings will not stop a theft, but will aid in the recovery of their propeller.

The best solution is to remove the propeller, when the boat is not in use, and store it inside the house. A propeller stored in a garage has a good chance of still being stolen.

Propeller locks are also available at boat dealers, stores and suppliers.
